Aristocratic heritage: Steeped in over 400 years of history, Schloss & Boutiquehotel Mitterhart offers a unique blend of noble tradition and modern flair. Originally built in 1615, this grand estate has been lovingly preserved by the Mair family for six generations. You’ll find a seamless transition from the main castle’s wood-panelled stüberls to the sleek, newly renovated rooms.
-
Tirolean culinary world: Experience the authentic flavours of the Alps at the hotel’s restaurant, a proud member of the Tiroler Wirtshaus association. Settle into the atmospheric vaulted dining room or the rustic Gwercher Stube for a menu of seasonal specialities and traditional Sunday roasts. As evening falls, enjoy a crisp local wine in the bar or out in the blooming castle gardens.
-
Award-winning greenery: Surround yourself with natural beauty in the hotel’s gardens, recently named among the top 10 most beautiful terraces and gardens in Tyrol by Falstaff. These verdant grounds offer a peaceful sanctuary with views of the River Inn and the towering peaks of the local mountains. It is the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon coffee or a sunset apéritif under the shade of ancient trees.
How to get thereThe hotel is located in Vomp, approximately 30 minutes from Innsbruck Airport by car. For those arriving by rail, Jenbach station is a major transport hub nearby, and the hotel is also conveniently connected to local public transport routes. We'd recommend hiring a car in order to get the most out of the beautiful area.
Good to knowPlease note, the hotel is located on the picturesque banks of the River Inn and features both historic castle rooms and modern lodge accommodations.
