  • Historic charm reimagined: Originally built in 1863, your hotel has been lovingly revived to blend its Victorian heritage with modern comfort. Perfectly capturing the spirit of the market town of Stroud, the interiors offer an inviting atmosphere where original stone walls and beams sit alongside plush velvet furnishings and a rich, moody colour palette.

  • Seasonal British fare: Food is at the heart of the hotel, with a focus on seasonal flavours that showcase the best of the local larder. The restaurant offers a vibrant yet cosy setting for British classics with a modern twist, while the bar, named after the building's original architect, is on hand with refreshing drinks.

  • Cosy comforts: Each guest room has been individually designed to offer a peaceful haven after a long day spent exploring Stroud and its surrounding countryside. The design balances contemporary amenities with rustic touches, featuring thoughtful details and high-end finishes.

How to get there

The hotel is located directly opposite Stroud railway station, which offers direct services from London Paddington in approximately 90 minutes. For those driving from the south or north, the hotel is easily accessible from the M5 motorway.
