How to get there
If you are travelling by train, the nearest train station is in Gifhorn. From there it is about 15 minutes by bus or car to your hotel. From Hanover Airport, you can reach your hotel in about 45 minutes by rental car or taxi.
Entry requirements

Isenbüttel
The Tankumsee is a peaceful retreat for those craving water, open space and tranquillity, far beyond the borders of the Südheide. Around the lake, varied and well-developed routes for hiking and biking unravel, for example along the Aller cycle path through meadow and forest – ideal for simply pausing during and taking in the soothing ambience.
After plenty of rest and relaxation, you’ll find three northern German city gems nearby for variety and inspiration. After a short drive, you’ll reach Wolfsburg, where the famous castle enchants with its Renaissance splendour. Equally picturesque is the old town of Gifhorn, a pretty picture of half-timbered facades. Don't miss the highlights of Braunschweig either, especially the Burgplatz with St. Blasii Cathedral and the lion statue in the historic heart of the city as well as the Magniviertel, rich with cultural highlights and boutiques.
