How to get there
Hotel Palau is set on the upper reaches of Palau town, with far-reaching views across to Maddalena, Caprera and the other islands in the Maddalena Archipelago. The hotel is approximately 40 kilometres from the port of Olbia, as well as Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport; hiring a car to reach the hotel would be your best option, and this can be arranged with the hotel directly.

From here you can take the car ferry across to Maddalena island, or head south to the Costa Smeralda where the island’s best beaches can be found, all turquoise waters and talcum-powder soft sand.
