How to get there
Contessina Suites & Spa is located in the village of Planos (also known as Tsilivi) on the Greek island of Zakynthos. From here it's about 20 minutes by car to Zakynthos Airport.
Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
Planos
You'll be staying in Planos, also called Tsilivi, which is one of Zakynthos’ loveliest villages and is surrounded by picture-perfect Mediterranean scenery - think olive groves, golden beaches and deep blue waters. The island's best beaches are in the south east, within easy reach of your hotel.
Head inland to discover the island's many cultural sites; perhaps the Callinico Winery Museum or the Anafonitria Monastery a little further afield. For an unforgettable day out, take the four-kilometre drive into the island's capital, where you can stroll along the port, tour the ruins of the ancient Bóchali Venetian Castle, or people-watch on Solomos Square.
