MONDI Resort am Grundlsee is about 100 kilometres away from Salzburg Airport, about a 90-minute drive by car.

Please also be aware that restaurant WASSERMANN is expected to open from January 2027 Thursday to Saturday and the SEEBLICK inn is open daily. The restaurants and bars are located in the main building of the resort. Dogs are not permitted in either of the restaurants.
Entry requirements

Once famed for the vast amounts of salt mined from the region, Austria’s Salzkammergut is now better known as an idyllic natural haven, with craggy snow-kissed mountains, forests, and serene alpine lakes reflecting the deep blue skies above. Being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s also filled with incredible views, from fascinating ice caves with impressive giant icicles and ice curtains, scenic cycling and hiking trails, and exceptional terrain to make the most of the outdoors in every season. The resort can provide guided hikes in various levels of difficulty, either using the gondola for access or striding up on your own two feet.
Skiing aficionados can find the Loser-Altaussee ski area just a few kilometres away, while a tranquil snowshoe hike across the snowy landscape is an incredible way to experience the natural beauty of the area.
