Alpine views: Overlooking the Saalach River, this cosy, family-run hotel offers a perfect location in one of Austria’s most scenic regions: the skiing and hiking paradise of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Mountain scenery abounds here, so whether you’re a sit-and-looker or a get-out-and-doer, you’ll be in heaven.
-
Wine and dine: Regional products are used to craft delectable dishes at the hotel’s restaurant - think Kasnockn and the original Wiener Schnitzel. For the vino lovers, there’s a wine lounge with a large menu of fine wines, and apres-ski or hike drinks are on hand at Gollinger Bar before you retire to your stylish bedroom.
-
Exploring and relaxing: AlpineOasis is the hotel’s pampering spa, fully-equipped with two saunas, a steam bath, a calming relaxation area and a range of treatments. Plenty of activities are on hand too, including walks with local guides, from sunrise summit hikes to easy strolls through the landscapes. Come winter, you can easily buy ski passes before setting off on the slopes.
How to get there
Salzburg Airport is roughly 90 kilometres from the hotel - an hour and 30-minute drive. We highly recommend hiring a car if you want to explore the area.
Good to know
Please note that the Gollinger Restaurant is closed on Wednesdays due to the hotel's weekly 'in-house day off'. On this day, employees can treat themselves to a well-deserved break. The hotel staff will be happy to organise a culinary trip to selected restaurants for you on Wednesdays. For further information please contact the hotel directly.
