How to get there
For ease, fly into Venice Marco Polo airport (about 98 kilometres away) which has a wide choice of flights. If you’re driving, head northeast on the A4 autostrada and then turn off south towards Bibione and the beach.

Bibione
With a wide, south-facing Blue Flag beach, the resort of Bibione overlooks the sparkling waters of the Adriatic Sea: it’s no wonder the town has been welcoming sun-seeking visitors since the 1950s. Halfway between Venice and Trieste, it's surrounded by the watery landscape of the Veneto, backed by lush greenery and close to the Tagliamento River.
