Nature-lovers, rejoice: Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and duck chatter on the lake at Barnham Broom, a gleaming country hotel. Golf-lovers will be well catered-for here with their choice of two 18-hole contrasting courses - the Valley and the Hill, perfect for putters at any level.
-
All about wellness: Shrug off any city stress at the wellness centre, with holistic treatments and classic therapies using ESPA products, before a lazy afternoon happily padding between the heated indoor pool, relaxation pool, steam room and sauna.
-
Leisure and luxury: If leisurely games of golf, hours in the spa and feasting on the best food all sounds too sedate, why not book yourself in for a game of tennis or squash, or even check out the state-of-the-art gym equipment? After you've worked up an appetite, indulge in a crafted cocktail in the Valley bar before dining at the ambient Brasserie.
How to get there
Barnham Broom is peacefully ensconced in the River Yare Valley a half hour west of Norwich. It's just five miles off the A11 that runs from London to Norwich, roughly a two and a half hour-drive from the former. Alternatively, the Norwich railway station is well connected and is a 15-mile taxi ride from the hotel.
